LANGUAGE & COMMUNICATION COMPETITIONS FOR TIRE AND AUTOMOTIVE COMPANIES
Earlier this year we began hosting competitions among clients as it relates to their language and communication skills. That is, how effectively are the teams communicating with regard to things like, is the team:

Declaring "Yes, I can help you with that?"

and what is their "Closing Percentage"?
Since SalesMax Plus measures language & communication metrics on behalf of all clients, we realized that different companies could compete with regard to their communication skills.
In the first competition, Same Day Automotive out of Tulsa, competed against Wiygul Automotive Clinic, located in the DC market for 3 months.

Each company ponied up $5000 to enter the contest and so there was $10,000 at stake. The competition lasted for three months. It was a HOME RUN, for everyone involved. In this first contest Same Day came away the winner as you can see in the photos.
We are currently in the middle of a new competition among four stores. DeBoers Automotive here in NJ is competing against J and J Tire's three stores down in GA. The stores are competing against each other over a three month period. It's a slightly different format than the first contest. In this one we are measuring, Closing Percentage, ICHYWT, Employee Commitment, Choice Close and Service Declarations.
This contest between the four stores has a purse of $5000 and DeBoers won the October prize of $1,500 which was divided up among the team according to Best Service Advisor, Most Improved and then a prize for the "Best Store".
Overall, the competitions are proving to be an effective format generating a very high level of engagement, excitement and prize money for the winners.
